„Dotnuva Baltic“ is expanding its range of products and services for agriculture and has signed a cooperation agreement with Estonian digital technology company „Paul-Tech“, which supplies unique soil data stations to the market. From this autumn, Lithuanian crop farms will be able to benefit from an innovative solution that will help them to optimise costs and achieve better yields.

An innovative service – renting a soil data station is being introduced to the market. This unique device will enable the farmer to collect, analyse and monitor soil data in a dedicated application. Research-based data analytics will help to understand soil processes and make the right decisions about fertiliser and other work based on the data.

Estonian agricultural start-up „Paul-Tech“ is partnering with the leading agricultural machinery dealer in Lithuania „Dotnuva Baltic“ to expand the presence of „Paul-Tech“ in the Lithuanian market by offering innovative solutions to local farmers to enable them to manage their farming processes more precisely.

Mikk Plakk, CEO of „Paul-Tech“, said that the partnership with „Dotnuva Baltic“ is an important step in the implementation of the company's expansion plans. „Dotnuva Baltic“, which has a strong position in the whole Baltic region, will become the official representative of „Paul-Tech“ outdoor stations in Lithuania. This will allow us to reach Lithuanian farmers and help them to optimise their costs and achieve better harvest results," explained Plakk.

For „Dotnuva Baltic“, representing well-known manufacturers in Western Europe and the USA specialising in the sales and service of professional agricultural machinery, this cooperation is also an important step. Dangis Valaitis, Managing Director of UAB „Dotnuva Baltic“, says that the choice of a new technology partner was based on the product benefits for the farm, the long-term perspective of digital farm data collection and analytics, and the international experience that confirms the quality of service. „We are delighted to have found a common approach with a modern partner who are developing a unique solution that farmers need in a big way“.

„Paul-Tech“ is a science-based agricultural platform that enables farmers to make more accurate daily decisions using real-time soil data. The company uses soil sensors developed from generations of research to measure the effectiveness of fertilisers in the soil and provide farmers with insights into a wide range of soil processes. The company's main selling point is to save money by more accurately assessing fertiliser needs and performing the right tasks at the right time and under the right conditions.

„Paul-Tech“ has more than 120 customers in Estonia, Finland and Sweden. Earlier this year, the company also entered the UK market, where it has already started working with more than 20 clients.
