"Claas announces innovation in Trion combine harvester range
Three years ago, &bquo;Claas“ introduced the „Trion“ series of combine harvesters, which are considered to be in the mid-size class. The Trion 740, Trion 740 Terra Trac and Trion 740 Montana now extend the range with the combination of the APS Hybrid threshing system and the single-rotor Roto Plus, the company said.
The latest „Claas Trion 740“ is a long-awaited addition to the Trion range - a compact 435hp hybrid combine with a single Roto Plus rotor, which is also available with the Terra Trac tracked chassis and the Montana version for hilly terrain.
„Demanding customers in European regions known for variable harvesting conditions have requested more engine power from the Trion 720 and Trion 730 hybrid combines now available, says Philipp Stiens, global head of large and medium combine harvesters at Claas“. The combination of the proven APS threshing mechanism and a single Roto Plus rotor highlights the benefits, particularly where adverse, highly variable harvesting conditions are common and where power can quickly become a limiting factor in productivity.
As for the new „Claas Trion 740“ combine, buyers are said to have a wide range of equipment options to choose from, ranging from the Terra Trac tracked chassis, the Montana version with slope compensation and various configurations of the Cemos driver assistance systems, as well as different grain tank sizes, exhaust pipe and straw and chaff distribution versions.
