Thursday was a very bad day for a farmer in the village of Maldėnai (Vilkaviskis district), and thieves were the cause of it all.

It is reported that at around 10:00 a.m., a man was caught in the act. 37 minutes ago, a report was received that between 9 March and 13 March, navigation antennas, two engine and controller computers, and a sprayer with a control and hydraulics computer and three monitors had been stolen from the tractors in the farm building.

The farmer suffered a huge loss, estimated at around €50,000.

Police have opened a pre-trial investigation.
