On Thursday, the Lithuanian Meat Cattle Breeders and Improvers Association (LMGAGA) became a member of the Lithuanian Agriculture Council, breaking ties with the Chamber of Agriculture.

The Chamber of Agriculture has lost an important member, as beef cattle farming is one of the country's most popular and promising agricultural businesses.

The withdrawal from the Chamber of Agriculture is motivated by the inefficiency of the Chamber of Agriculture.
