An unusual theft has been committed in the vicinity of the village of Stirbaityne (Tauragė district). A heifer and a bull were reported stolen from a pasture between 17.00 on 26 September and 10.00 on 27 September.

The farmer estimated the loss at €700. The cattle have not yet been found and the Tauragė District Police have opened a pre-trial investigation for theft of foreign property.
