Minister of Agriculture Kęstutis Navickas and Deputy Minister Egidijus Giedraitis participated in the general meeting of the Lithuanian Association of Grain Growers (Kaunas district). They discussed the recently adopted new rules on support for agricultural land and other areas and livestock and on the administration and control of direct payments.

The meeting focused on the common agricultural policy of the European Union, possible changes to the Green Deal, Lithuania's leadership role in the European Group of the Northern & Southern European Agriculture Group.

Deputy Minister E. Giedraitis presented the planned changes to the Good Agricultural and Environmental Condition (GAEC), listened to the suggestions of the members of the association and answered their questions.
