Minister's morning exercise... shaking the dung (VIDEO)
Kazys Starkevičius, Minister of Agriculture, shared a video on the social networking site "Facebook" of a farm being searched before he left for the Vilnius Bartholomew's Fair and the Panevėžys District Farmers' Festival. He called it a morning exercise.
"I have a moment of rest, I got on the tractor (...). We are improving the soil structure. Of course, you need to have manure. Many people in the city or those who have moved to the countryside say that there are some smells. I don't know. That manure is over-rotted (...) We put it in straight away. This is how the work is going"," Starkevičius comments in the recording.
K. Starkevičius has returned to the post of Minister of Agriculture after a considerable break, replacing Kęstutis Navickas. Most farmers saw this as a positive sign.
