A disaster occurred in Kėdainiai district tonight – a tractor crushed a man. 17 min. A report was received at the General Emergency Centre that a car had driven into a ditch in the Future Street of Josvainiai town and a tractor was pinning a man nearby. 

Firefighters, medics and police were dispatched to the scene. 

After the rescuers arrived, it turned out that the car had driven into a ditch, the tractor was on the side of the road, and a conscious man was pinned between the car and the tractor.

The victim was placed in a neck splint. The tractor and loader were hitched up and a tow rope was pulled away to allow the man to be extricated. 

03 hrs. The man was freed and handed over to medics. 

Medics administered first aid and transported him to a medical facility. The battery of the Range Rover Sport was disconnected. 

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by police officers.
