CNH Group has unveiled the next generation of the New Holland T5 Dual Command tractor range at the "Sommet de l' Élevage Fair 2024“" in France.

This range consists of five models from 80 to 117 hp. All are powered by FPT F36 3.6-litre four-cylinder engines. The machines feature a new design and new features designed to increase efficiency and operator comfort.

The updated T5 Dual Command tractor offers a wider choice of rear tyres and a choice of front axle, either the standard unit for lighter work in tighter spaces, or the new HD axle for heavier, more intensive work.

In addition, New Holland's exclusive SuperSteer front axle option features a 76° steering angle, further increasing manoeuvrability and productivity in tight corners, small fields and yards. The 2.35 m wheelbase combines this manoeuvrability with stability.

Tractors with the standard front axle benefit from 20% more steering power under load for faster cornering, while the more robust HD axle increases the gross vehicle weight rating to 7,000 kg.

The rear lift capacity of the T5 Dual Command models has also been increased by 7% to 4,700 kg, while a new 82 l/min hydraulic pump delivers a 30% increase in hydraulic flow for fast implement activation and fast loader duty cycles.

More technology and more comfort

The transmission on the new T5 Dual Command models is the acclaimed Dual Command 24F/24R unit with four speeds, three ranges and two-speed shifting, plus an electronic gearbox.

New automatic differential lock and automatic 4wd engagement on T5 Dual Command models simplify downhill turns, while a new maintenance-free, quieter and easy-to-engage front wet disc driveshaft offers more comfort and versatility.

Externally, the new T5 tractors feature new styling, with new front and side grilles and new decals to match those on other recently updated „New Holland“ machines. A new U-shaped tailpipe provides unobstructed visibility at the front, while improved work lights and headlights with an optional LED light package improve visibility and safety outdoors and on the road, plus there are new „branded“ LED lights.

The T5 Dual Command tractors feature mechanical Comfort Ride cab suspension for a smoother ride outdoors and on the road. These models also feature a new digital dashboard with a redesigned instrument panel that makes it easier to read information.

The first units of the new T5 Dual Command will reach „New Holland“ dealers by the end of 2024.
