Producer prices for industrial output fell by 1.4% on the month.
Industrial output prices sold by the country's manufacturers fell by 1.4 % month-on-month in March compared to February and by 1.5% year-on-year in March compared to the same month in 2024 %, according to the State Data Agency.
In the meantime, excluding refined petroleum products, industrial output prices increased by 0.4 percent on month and 2.1 percent on year&ndash.
Monthly performance was mainly influenced by a decrease in prices of refined petroleum products (9.7 %) and an increase in prices of food products (1.2 %)
Industrial output prices sold on the Lithuanian market decreased by 1.2 % during the month, while prices excluding refined petroleum products increased by 0.2 %. Refined petroleum products decreased by the largest amount (10 %), while chemicals and chemical products increased by the largest amount (1.8 %). 
Food products rose by 0.4 % in March, with processed and manufactured tea and coffee rising by 0.4 %, and processed and manufactured tea and coffee by 5.8 %, sugar – 5.6 %, processed and canned poultry – 2.8 %, but prepared feed for farm animals – 5.3 %, ice cream – 3.8 %, condiments and seasonings – 2.0 %.
At the same time, prices of industrial products sold on the Lithuanian market decreased by 0.6 % since March last year, while prices of ex-refined petroleum products increased by 1.8 %.Industrial output prices sold on the Lithuanian market decreased by 2.3 % year-on-year (excluding refined petroleum products increased by 2.4 %) and by 1.6 % month-on-month (excluding refined petroleum products increased by 0.6 %)
Industrial output prices on the euro area market declined by 2.3 % y/y and on the non-euro area market by 2.2 % y/y. At the same time, on a monthly basis, industrial output prices both inside and outside the euro area declined by 1.6 % each
