A hunter injured a man in the vicinity of a hunting accident in the Rokiškis district, the Police Department said.

According to him, the incident took place on Monday, at around 22:00, in the forest of the town of Salai. The man, born in 1972, was repairing his "Blazer R8" assault rifle after a hunting trip when he fired and injured a man, born in 1983, who was standing nearby. He was hospitalised.
