A 47-year-old man was injured on Saturday morning at around 09:00 while hunting in the forest around Degėsiai village (Radviliškis district).  

It is reported that the hunter fired a legally held 12-gauge hunting rifle, but the barrel of the rifle exploded.

The man was taken to Kaunas hospital after receiving medical assistance.

Police are clarifying the circumstances.
