The milk purchase price in Lithuania fell by 1.8% during the month.

In June 2025, according to the Milk Accounting Information System, the average buying-in price for natural milk (4.15% fat and 3.38% protein) in Lithuania was €499.91 per tonne, which is 1.8% less than in May. However, compared to June 2024, this price remained 34.2% higher.

The buying-in price for basic index milk in May was EUR 404.33 per tonne, 0.4% higher than in May and 30.0% higher than a year ago.

Large dairy producers selling more than 40 tonnes of raw milk per month were paid an average of €542.52/t for natural milk (4.20% fat and 3.42% protein), down by 0.9% compared to May, while the price for basic milk was €432.85/t, up by 1.6% compared to May.

In June 2025, 125.71 thousand tonnes of raw milk were purchased in Lithuania, which is 1.6% more than in the same period last year.
