A timber lorry overturned in the Jurbarkas district

On Friday evening, a timber lorry overturned in a forest in the Jurbarkas district. The driver was in shock.

According to the Kaunas Fire and Rescue Board of the Fire and Rescue Department (PAGD), at 17:27, a report was received that a MAN timber lorry had overturned on a gravel track in a forest on the Keryvai–Seredžius road in the Jurbarkas district, with the driver trapped.

The timber lorry had overturned onto its side in a ditch, with timber on top of it. The driver was conscious, had got out and was walking around, but was in a state of shock. Paramedics who arrived later examined him and took him to a medical facility. The tractor unit’s battery was disconnected.
