Pocket 400 euros per hectare with no hassle (VIDEO)
Can using a „Mzuri“ drill alone really save a farmer €400–450 per hectare? That's according to Marek Ró, Chairman of the Board of „Mzuri World“. And if we add to that the payments for the application of no-till technology, the economic benefits can be even greater.
This is exactly what we discussed with representatives of „Mzuri“ at a field day organised by „Klovima“ in the Radviliškis region.
In one pass, the land, which had not been tilled since last year, was cultivated and rain-soaked, liquid manure was applied and the precision of sowing was practically demonstrated.
Last to enter the field was Łukasz Lewandowski, Sales Manager at „Mzuri“, who sent another precision blow to the sceptics' gates with a practical demonstration of centimetre-precision work: seeds are sown in a single strip every 17 centimetres at a precise depth of 5 cm, and liquid manure is applied exactly under the location of the future plant.
In addition, two types of fertiliser can be applied in the same pass if required.
How realistic are the promises of savings? How is it possible to do so many different jobs in one pass? And can this technology change the way farmers think about tillage?
„Agrobite play“ team visited the field day and invites you to see it for yourself. On 31 May. On the farm of Tomas Skierus (Alko k., Rietavas municipality, exact coordinates 55.778500, 21.948167) from 10 am onwards, a direct drilling of maize will take place with a "Mzuri" seed drill, with slurry application. Make sure to register and contact +370 640 13200. There will be discussions and refreshments.
