Saving thousands: see what Holmer + Mzuri are up to

There is probably no better way for a farm to take care of both the soil and the planting of quality crops than to use the technology in practice of the UAB "Klovima", where a 650 horsepower slurry injector "Holmer" with a "Mzuri" " direct belt drill cultivates, injects the slurry and then sows the desired crop.

On the farm of Tomas Skieraus (Rietavas municipality), "Klovima" organised a demo day, where last year's fodder crops were sown and immediately afterwards the aforementioned unique machines passed by.

Minimum tillage, slurry application and direct drilling – all in one pass, saving farm costs.

So, in this episode you will see:

• the work of the 650hp „Holmer TerraVariant 650“

• „Mzuri“ direct band drilling

• liquid manure application

• a real trial on the farm of Tomas Skieraus

• why the 100 ha test area increased to 300 ha

Kęstutis Maciulevičius, agronomist at the farm, said that this year the technology has been repeated, i.e. 300 hectares have been sown with the help of "Mzuri", while last year only 100 hectares were tried.

If farmers find it too expensive to buy a new generation of machines,   "Klovima" offers a service where the whole set-up or individual "Mzuri" drills can be rented. Even with an operator.
