"Agrobite play" channel has tried to look ahead to when farmers will need to sow winter oilseed rape. "Last winter was not a challenge for winter oilseed rape. According to the Lithuanian Hydrometeorological Service, this winter was one of the five warmest winters since 1961. For this reason, we have seen very good crop density and development in the spring," Januleviciute told the podcast, adding that the challenges for farmers came after the winter.
