With Poland taking over the Presidency of the European Union in January, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will pay an official visit on 3 January. This opportunity is not to be missed by Poland's farmers' organisations, which are planning a major protest outside the European Commission's office in Warsaw.

In Warsaw, Ursula von der Leyen will attend the opening ceremony of the Polish Presidency. As many as 14 farmers' organisations are planning to welcome the President of the European Commission.

Using the slogan "5 x STOP !!!“", the Poles are trying to stop the European Union's agreement with the Economic Organisation of South American Countries (SEMC), the EU's Green Deal, the import of agricultural products from Ukraine, the decline of Poland's economy and the problems with forestry and hunting.

The organisers of the protest announce that thousands of farmers will take part in the action. The event will start at 2 pm and last until 10 pm.
