In the first 10 months of this year, 66.086 million litres of beer were produced in Latvia, up 0.3% compared to the same period last year, the State Revenue Service said, citing excise duty collection data.

Exports of the beverage rose by 8.3% to 51.044 million litres and imports by 11% to 105.391 million litres.

Beer consumption in Latvia (retail sales volumes) increased by 3.1% to 110,603 million litres.

In 2023, Latvia's beer production decreased by 15.1% to 74.106 million litres and consumption by 6.2% to 123.102 million litres.
