The regular trading session of the "Global Dairy Trade" (GDT) was marked by a slight increase. The GDT index rose 0.8% this time to 1,150 points.

This means that the GDT index curve is attempting to reach a corrective high, but there is no guarantee that it will break the upper limit. The curve is likely to either show a smaller rise or a downward move in the next trading session.

Mozzarella cheese (+4.5%), lactose (+3.5%) and Cheddar cheese (+2.9%) were the most expensive products during the last trading session. Butter was the most depreciated (-1.7%).

GDT's trading platform is owned by the New Zealand cooperative "Fonterra".

The trend in the Oceania area will reach Europe in about 1.5-2 months.
