Lawyer Brooke Rollins becomes US Secretary of Agriculture
US President-elect Donald Trump is set to nominate lawyer Brooke Rollins as Secretary of Agriculture. She has already been named the new President of the United States of America by the President of the United States of America. She has held various positions in the White House during Trump's first term and is now the head of the influential conservative think tank America First Policy Institute, whose board chairwoman Linda McMahon Donald Trump has been appointed by President Donald Trump to lead the White House in the first term. McM McMahon, who is also the president of the White House, has been offered the post of Secretary of Education by Trump.
Republican said that Ms Rollins would lead efforts to "protect American farmers, who are the backbone of our country". The Department of Agriculture is one of the largest federal institutions in the US. This is not only because of the huge agricultural acreage in the country, but also because of the importance of the sector to the US economy.
If Ms Rollins were to become Secretary of Agriculture, her responsibilities would go beyond traditional agricultural policy. It would also include directing rural development programs and the important SNAP food program, which provides assistance to low-income households.
