"Vilvi Group's profit down 17.8% to EUR 4 million this year

One of Lithuania's largest dairy processing groups, „Vilvi Group“, earned a consolidated net profit of EUR 4 million in the first quarter of this year, a decrease of 17.8% compared to the previous year, when it amounted to EUR 4.9 million.

The group's consolidated sales revenue was EUR 71.1 million on an unaudited basis, up 26.5% year-on-year to EUR 56.2 million, „Vilvi Group“ reported to the Vilnius Stock Exchange via „Nasdaq“.

Earlier, the group announced net profit of EUR 25.7 million last year, up 1.7 times year-on-year, earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of EUR 33.6 million, a 60% increase and consolidated revenue of EUR 245.4 million, up 16.6%.

The group comprises „Vilkyškių pieninė“, „Modest“, „Kelmės pieninė“, „Kelmės pienas“, „Pieno logistika“, „ and the company in Latvia „Baltic Dairy Board“.
