Unaudited consolidated sales revenue of „Vilvi Group“, one of the largest dairy processing groups in Lithuania, grew by 22% year-on-year in January and June this year and amounted to almost EUR 142.9 million (EUR 117.1 million), „Vivi Group“ reported on Friday via the „Nasdaq“ Vilnius Stock Exchange.

Financial profit fell 15.6% to EUR 8.826 million, compared with EUR 10.455 million at the same time last year.

The company said that the increase in sales revenue, both in the European Union and in other foreign markets, was driven by the growing global demand for dairy products, especially milk fat.

„The structure of sales regions and sales channels remained stable and sufficiently diversified, so that economic or political influences did not pose a significant risk“, – the half-year results report said.

Consolidated half-year sales in Lithuania grew 5% year-on-year to €17.403 million, driven by the increase in fresh dairy prices in the domestic market and the increase in demand for industrial products – cream and milk and whey flour.

Exports accounted for 87.8% of the Group's total sales in the January-June period, up 2 percentage points compared to the same period last year.

The Group comprises Vilkyškių pieninė, „Modest“, Kelmės pieninė, „Kelmės pienas“, „Pieno logistika“ and the company in Latvia, „Baltic Dairy Board“.
