Average prices of petrol and LPG fell by 0.1%, while diesel prices fell by 1.2%.
In Lithuania on Friday morning the average prices of petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) decreased by 0.1%, 1.2% and 0.1% respectively, the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) reported.
Diesel prices at petrol stations on Friday morning ranged from €1.83 per litre to €2.139 per litre, while the average diesel price was €1.987 per litre, or 1.2% lower than on Thursday, according to the agency.
The lowest diesel price was 1.83 euro per litre at „Jozita“ 26 petrol stations and the highest was 2.139 euro per litre at „Emsi“ petrol station in the village of Medininkai in Vilnius District Municipality.
Petrol prices on Friday morning at petrol stations ranged from €1.610 to €1.819 per litre, with the average petrol price of €1.717 per litre, or 0.1% lower than on Thursday.
The lowest petrol price on Friday morning was 1.61 euro per litre at 5 petrol stations (in Klaipėda, as well as Klaipėda, Kelme, Panevėžys and Pakruojis districts).
At the same time, the highest petrol price was at 7 „Circle K“ service stations. Here, a litre of petrol cost €1.819.
SNG prices at service stations on Friday morning ranged from 0.79 euro to 0.999 euro per litre, while the average price of LPG was 0.923 euro per litre, or 0.1% lower than on Thursday.
The lowest LPG price on Friday morning (€0.79 per litre) was recorded at the „Madalva“ petrol station located in the village of Žygaičiai in the municipality of the Taurage district. At the same time, the highest LPG price was at 6 petrol stations of the „Circle K“ network and at the „Šventosios investicijos“ petrol station (in the municipality of Palanga, Sventoji) 0.999 euro per litre.
Agency data show that on Thursday, the national wholesale price of petrol was €1.59 per litre and diesel €1.80 per litre. Compared to Wednesday prices this week, the wholesale price of petrol has increased by €0.02 per litre, while the price of diesel has increased by €0.07 per litre.
The price of Brent crude oil on the market on Thursday stood at USD 105.07 per barrel.Fuel price information was made available to the LEA on Friday by 55 fuel marketing companies from 738 service stations.
