The new Agricultural Attaché to Italy is inaugurated
Meda Nacickaitė has joined the Lithuanian Embassy in Italy as Attaché for Agriculture. The term of office of the Agriculture Attaché is 3 years.
Meda Nacickaitė, who holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Webster, Switzerland, and a Master's degree in Diplomacy from the Australian National University, has worked as a Senior Specialist at the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Agriculture. There, she managed development cooperation projects and was responsible for the development of bilateral relations in the field of agriculture.
The Agriculture Attaché in Italy will be responsible for representing Lithuania's interests at the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations, coordinating Lithuania's participation in the activities of the World Food Programme and the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and for the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture, food and rural development between Lithuania and Italy.

I am convinced that her knowledge and skills will help to successfully represent Lithuania's interests in Italy, to develop cooperation in the field of agriculture and to strengthen our country's position in international organisations.
