EU chocolate exports increase by 2% to 867 000 tonnes last year

European Union šalys exported 867,000 tonnes of šokolado last year – 2% more than in 2022, according to Eurostat.

Community exports grew by 35 per cent in the last year.

The EU's main exporters of chocolate last year were Germany (25.5 per cent of total exports), the Netherlands (14.2 per cent), Poland (13.3 per cent), Belgium (11.1 per cent) and Italy (10.6 per cent).

The EU's largest importers of &scaron – UK (36.3%), USA (8.3%), Russia (7.5%), Canada (3.6%), Australia (3.1%).
