Presenting a European vision for the agriculture and food sector
Christophe Hansen, European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food, will present a European vision for the agriculture and food sector to the European Parliament on Thursday.
The Commissioner will discuss the situation and future of the sector and other topical issues with Lithuanian officials, representatives of the agribusiness and rural business community, academics and experts.
The European Commissioner will also visit the farm „Kinderio limuzinai“ in the Leliūnai district of Utena.
The Chamber of Agriculture (CAA) is holding a conference on Thursday to announce the proposals to be presented to Mr Hansen.
The organisations are holding a press conference on a proposal by a group of MPs to repeal the law governing the Chamber's activities.
