An important call to action for farms is coming up. Upgrade your machinery – from grain transfer systems to smart organic fertiliser spreaders
Lithuanian farms now have the opportunity to modernise their agricultural transport and fertilisation equipment by taking advantage of investment support. UAB “interAG”, representing the German agricultural vehicle manufacturer “ANNABURGER Nutzfahrzeug GmbH”, can offer the country’s farms a wide range of specialised equipment – from grain transhipment trailers and bulk cargo transport solutions to organic fertiliser spreaders and slurry tanks.
The opportunity to purchase this equipment is becoming particularly relevant as the “Investments in Agricultural Holdings” scheme approaches. Applications are expected to be accepted from 1 October to 30 November, and under this scheme, investment may be eligible for a support intensity of up to 70 per cent. This gives farms the opportunity to cover part of the investment in equipment upgrades with grant funding, whilst also enhancing the productivity and efficiency of the technologies used on the farm.
One of „ANNABURGER“’s solutions is grain transfer trailers known as „Chaser bins“. The equipment offered by the manufacturer can be adapted for intensive harvesting operations, where it is important to transfer grain from the combine harvester to transport vehicles as quickly as possible and minimise downtime of harvesting machinery. It is reported that certain “ANNABURGER” models can tranship up to 46 m³ of grain in just 2.5 minutes.
The manufacturer’s range also includes various trailers for transporting bulk cargo and green fodder. Solutions in the “Eco Liner” series can be fitted with rear or side tipping, whilst “SchoubMax Plus” trailers feature a front-discharge wall. This design allows the equipment to be adapted to different farm transport technologies and tasks.
Another equally important product line for “ANNABURGER” is organic fertiliser spreading equipment. UAB “interAG”, in collaboration with the German manufacturer, can offer both simpler and more sophisticated solutions for organic fertiliser spreaders. More advanced technology can be integrated with field fertilisation plans drawn up on the farm, allowing fertiliser application to be tailored more precisely to the specific needs of each field. With the addition of conveyor belts, the equipment can also be used for soil liming.
For farms producing large volumes of slurry, transport tanks of various sizes are available. Depending on the technology used on the farm, these can be fitted with equipment for spreading or injecting liquid organic fertiliser. This allows a single transport unit to be adapted for different tasks and enables a solution to be selected according to the specific needs of the farm.
“ANNABURGER Nutzfahrzeug GmbH” is headquartered in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. The company specialises in the manufacture of agricultural transport solutions, but its equipment is not limited to farms – various transport solutions can also be used in other sectors where the transport of bulk cargo, green matter or liquid materials is required.
