Britanijos vėliava. VAT nuotr.

The State Plant Protection Service informs that plants belonging to the genera Nepenthes (pitcher plants), Dionaea (flycatchers) and Lecanopteris (epiphytic ferns) have been recognised as herbaceous plants by the National Plant Protection Organisation of the United Kingdom (UK). In the light of this Decision, plants of these genera will henceforth be subject to herbaceous plant import requirements.

The requirements of Annex 7, Part A, points 13 and 40 of European Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/2072 of 28 November 2019 must be complied with when importing plants of the specified genera into the UK. Additional phytosanitary requirements are required depending on the plant genus.
