A 15-year-old teenager driving a quad bike collided with a tractor in Varėna district.The injured minor is being treated at the Santara Clinic in Vilnius.

As reported by the Alytus County Police, the accident took place on Friday evening, around 7 pm. 50 min. It was about 5:00 p.m. in the village of Senieji Naniškių.

A minor, not having the right to drive vehicles, driving a four-wheeler not registered in the prescribed procedure, collided with a tractor „MTZ 80”, driven by a 23-year-old man, which was travelling on the opposite side of the street.

The teenager driving the ATV was injured in the accident and is undergoing treatment for his injuries at Santara Clinics.

A pre-trial investigation has been opened into the accident.
