A petrol chainsaw and a brushcutter were stolen and 16 chickens were taken from an outbuilding after a house was broken into in Šiauliai district, police said.

According to law enforcement data, between 1 August and 29 September, in Šiauliai district, Šėkščių village, the padlock of the door was broken and a man, born in Šiauliai. 1938 and took a petrol chainsaw HUSQVARNA, a petrol brushcutter DOMARK.

At the same time, 16 chickens were taken from an unlocked outbuilding and 7 beehives, which were located next to the house, were damaged.

The damage amounts to €1,920. An investigation into the theft has been opened.
