A tractor with a semi-trailer full of grain overturns in Panevėžys district

On Monday afternoon, a tractor with a semi-trailer full of grain overturned on the Panevėžys-Siauliai road in Panevėžys district, disrupting traffic for a short time.

According to the Panevėžys Fire Rescue Board, on 21 July at around 13:00, a report was received that help was needed in the Panevėžys district, one kilometre before Berčiūnai, when a tractor with a full semi-trailer full of grain overturned.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, the overturned tractor-trailer was spilling grain onto both carriageways. Firefighters cordoned off the area.

The trailer was tipped over and the grain was collected by the arriving machinery of the company „Baltic Agro“, to which the tractor belongs.

The driver of the tractor was not injured in the incident.
