Firefighters rushed to a traffic accident in the village of Gilūšio, Elektrėnai municipality yesterday.

„A report was received that a tractor had overturned and a person may be trapped inside. On arrival, a person was injured inside the tractor, which had overturned on its side. The man was put in a neck splint, lifted out of the tractor, carried away and handed over to medics, firefighters report.

Another tractor overturned in the village of Kiauleikiai in Kretinga district.

„A report has been received that a tractor has overturned and is leaking fuel. On arrival there were no injured persons. The tractor was lifted onto its wheels by a telescopic hoist and pulled to the roadside. The tractor had a spillage of petroleum products of approximately 25 m². About 0.5 m3 of contaminated soil was removed, firefighters report.
