The State Service for Plant Production under the Ministry of Agriculture informs that the College of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan has shared the phytosanitary requirements for plants, plant products and other objects imported into or in transit through the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

These requirements are published on the website of the Plant Protection Service,

We suggest that those planning to transport plants, plant products and other objects to the Republic of Azerbaijan check whether these goods are subject to phytosanitary import requirements.

If the National Plant Protection Organisation of the Republic of Azerbaijan finds that an incoming consignment does not comply with the phytosanitary requirements, it may take a decision to destroy the consignment or to return it to the consignor.

The Plant Protection Service reminds you that the phytosanitary requirements for imports from third countries are published on the Plant Protection Service's website in the section "Phytosanitary requirements for other countries".
