100 chickens burnt down in Trakai district

Thursday morning was not a good one for a small farm in Trakai district. The Fire and Rescue Department (PAGD) reported that an outbuilding (7x6 metres) in the village of Miglini, where about 100 chickens were kept, had caught fire.

„On arrival, the one-storey outbuilding, with a tin roof, was burning with open flames. The building was completely burnt. The chickens in the building (100 pieces) were burnt out," the PAGD reported.

Firefighters managed to protect another outbuilding and a dwelling house 3 metres away.
