Latvia has cut beer production by 7% in 2025.

Latvia produced 68.539 million litres of beer last year, down 7.2% from 2024, the State Revenue Service said on the basis of excise duty collection data.

Latvia's beer exports dropped by 34.9% to 41.113 million litres last year, while imports dropped by 22.4% to 91.784 million litres.

117.645 million litres of beer were diverted to the domestic market for consumption, a 6.2% decrease compared to the previous year.

In 2024, Latvia reduced beer production by 0.3%, increased exports by 5.1%, imports by 7.7% and consumption by 2.9%.
