A man drunk and without a driving licence behind the wheel of an MTZ

On Saturday, police in Šakiai district stopped a drunken tractor driver driving an MTZ tractor in the village of Papiškių. The incident was recorded at around 17:00.

The 48-year-old man was found to be driving a motorcycle with a blood pressure of 2.12 litres. The drink-drive level was 12.12. This corresponds to a medium level of drunkenness. However, it turned out that the man did not have the right to drive the tractor at all.

A pre-trial investigation has been opened.
