The burger restaurants „Drama Burger“ on Gediminas Avenue in Vilnius and in the North Campus are going out of business.

„This is a message we never wanted to write. The journey of „Drama Burger“ is over. (...) The moment has come when business in Lithuania, especially in the catering sector, has become simply too difficult to survive," the company said in a post on the social networking site „Facebook“ on Monday.

The portal „Rekvizitai.lt“ indicates that the company „Septyni mėsainiai“ that used to run the restaurants owes €7,937 to the "Sodra" social security agency (SODRA), and €5,167 to the State Tax Inspectorate (VMI).

According to the data of the State Tax Inspectorate, in January and February this year, „Septyni mėsainiai“ paid EUR 24,191 thousand in taxes, while last year the total amount of taxes paid was EUR 152,9 thousand.

Based on the taxes paid by „Seven Burgers“, the company's revenue for 2024 is forecast to be 2% higher than in 2023 (€1.243 million), reaching €1.265 million.

The company made a loss in the years 2020-2021, but was profitable in the years 2022-2023 with net profits of €28,082 and €61,658 respectively.
