More than 45 hectares of state land auctioned this year

In the first three months of this year, €2.5 million worth of state-owned land was sold at auctions. During this period, 96 auctions took place, selling more than 45 hectares of state land, the National Land Service (NLS) reported.

According to the service, the most expensive land plot sold this year in Klaipėda was a 0.09 hectare plot purchased for EUR 321.8 thousand.

One of the biggest price jumps was recorded in Kaišiadorys district, where four state land plots with a total area of 0.3 hectares were sold at auctions for EUR 310.8 thousand, although the initial price was EUR 37.5 thousand.

The largest total area of land sold was in the Radviliškis district. Almost 10 ha of land was sold at five auctions for more than €42,000.
