Naglis Narauskas, known to the whole farming community, passed away on Thursday night after a serious illness. This is particularly painful news for farmers, as N. Narauskas did a lot of good work, especially in the dairy sector, and was both a demanding and sensitive person.

N. N. Narauskas served three terms as Chairman of the Board of the agricultural cooperative „Pienas LT“. It was largely thanks to his efforts that dairy producers were united in this cooperative and under his supervision, despite various obstacles, farmers managed to build a milk processing plant in Kaunas LEZ.

In 2017, N. Narauskas chaired the Dairy Council, established under the Ministry of Agriculture, which advises the Government on dairy sector strategy.

N. Narauskas has always been a man whose ideas have been followed by farmers. This is a truly heartbreaking loss.
