Austrian agricultural implement manufacturer „Regent Pflugfabrik“ with all its production equipment is up for auction. The company faced financial difficulties as late as 2023. „Regent Pflugfabrik“ was founded 90 years ago.

The manufacturer has reportedly failed to reorganise and is auctioning off everything from unsold products to spare parts and production lines. Even historic production examples are being sold, which are still in the company's custody.

The Ploughshares plant filed for bankruptcy itself at the end of last year and tried to reorganise. The company's difficulties, it is claimed, were caused by supply chains breaking down, staff shortages and energy costs becoming too high.

The auction of the factory will take place on 13 August. The list includes more than 5,800 items and equipment for sale, ranging from wrenches to laser cutters.

„Regent“ brand is represented in Lithuania by UAB „Žemtiekimas“.
