The world's most prestigious Tractor of The Year competition at the „EIMA 2024“ exhibition in Bologna, Italy, has been awarded the top prize to the „Case IH Quadtrac 715“ tractor developed by the „CNH“ Group. This is the sixth time that „Case IH“ has won the top prize.

This year's „Tractor of The Year“ („TotY) competition has an updated format, with new categories added.

Main Prize – „Case IH Quadtrac 715“

In a competitive environment where power, efficiency and sustainability are crucial, the jury of the prestigious „Tractor of the Year 2025“ competition has selected the „Case IH Quadtrac 715“ as the winner of the „TotY HighPower“ category, which is dedicated to tractors with a power output of more than 300 hp.

„This decision reflects the Quadtrac 715's superiority in performance, ergonomics, connectivity and environmental care, making it a top choice for high-volume farming operations,

„Case IH Quadtrac 715“ was awarded for its impressive 715 hp and maximum power of 778 hp, delivered by an FPT Cursor 16 engine, which delivers a maximum torque of 3,356 Nm at 1400 rpm. This performance makes the Quadtrac 715 one of the most powerful mass-produced tractors in the world, delivering maximum performance for the most demanding agricultural tasks.

Despite its size and power, the Quadtrac 715 is soil-friendly thanks to its four-track system, designed to reduce soil compaction. The large contact area ensures minimal impact on the soil, which is a key factor in maintaining soil health, especially on large farms where heavy machinery is often used.

Mechanical cab suspension works in conjunction with hydraulic axle dampers and the adaptive steering control system provides exceptional manoeuvrability, further enhancing soil protection.

Who else was awarded?

In the MidPower Tractor category, the first place went to the „Fendt 620 Vario DP model.

The „TotY MidPower“ category is for tractors with a power output between 150 and 280 HP. Tractors in this range offer a unique balance of power, versatility and efficiency.

In one of the – „TotY Utility“ – categories, the „Steyr 4120 Plus“ has been awarded the top nomination. The „TotY Utility“ category recognises tractors with a power output ranging from 70 to 150 hp and a maximum operating weight of 9,000 kilograms.

In the category of specialised tractors „TotY Specialized“, the award was given to „Antonio Carraro“ for the „Antonio Carraro Tony 8900 TRG“ tractor. The „TotY Specialized“ category focuses on garden, vineyard and mountain tractors. Tractors with more than 40 hp.

The second prize in the competition goes to „Fendt“. "TotY Sustainable" tractor category, which promotes innovation and highlights the agricultural industry's efforts to provide environmentally friendly tractors, the winner was the „Fendt e107 Vario“.

And the last category in which a winner was announced, the „TOTYBot“ category. The winner here was „AgXeed 5.115T2“, a robot already operating in Lithuania.

This category is dedicated to the continuous development of agricultural technology, and more specifically to robotic tractors.
