A man is injured when a tree is felled in Kelme district

A man was seriously injured when a tree was felled in Kelme district. According to the Telšiai District Police, the accident happened last week. According to preliminary data, a man born in 1968 was injured by a falling tree in a logging site in the village of Pašilė.

The medical treatment facility has indicated to law enforcement that the injury is classified as a serious injury. 

Police have opened a pre-trial investigation into a violation of occupational health and safety requirements.
