The net profit of „Danish Agro“, an indirectly owned agricultural production company of the Danish group, grew 3.7 times to EUR 3.97 million (previous year: EUR 1.07 million), while revenue fell 4.6% to EUR 405.3 million (EUR 424 million), according to a report submitted to the Centre of Registers.

The company continued to modernise and expand its warehousing, production capacity and elevators, it said.

„2024 was a more favourable year for agricultural companies, as expected after 2023. Profitability for all product groups showed moderate growth on slightly lower turnover. The decline in interest rates allowed for a more efficient use of financial resources, – said „Baltic Agro“ in the report.

This year, the company plans to expand its core activities, aiming for higher profitability.

The company has warehouses in Raseiniai and Vilkaviskis districts, warehouses and elevators in Vilnius, Kėdainiai, Pakruojis and Jurbarkas districts, and a seed factory and a warehouse and an elevator in Panevėžys district.

The company employs about 230 people (209 at the end of 2024).
