Fire in a farmhouse - half of the chickens kept there burnt down

Kaunas Fire Rescue Board, reports a fire in Virgainiai village, Raseiniai district. 

An outbuilding on fire has been reported from this village. 

„When firefighters arrived, an outbuilding for ancillary purposes was burning in open flames. The building was 4x2 m in size, of wooden construction, clad with slate and roofed with slate. It was extinguished, firefighters report.

About 20 chickens were rescued and about 20 more were burnt. A gas cylinder was taken away. The building was completely burnt.
