Janusz Włodarczyk has been appointed head of Lidl in the Baltic states

 Janusz Wlodarczyk, a Polish national, has taken over as head of the German-owned retail chain “Lidl” in the Baltic states since September.

He has replaced Marina Dokozić, a Croatian national who had been in charge since last November and who previously managed “Lidl” stores in Croatia, Portugal and Germany. He  continue his career with the “Lidl” group – he has joined the board of the group, which is headquartered in Germany, and is responsible for operations in several Southern European countries, the company announced.

According to the statement, J. Wlodarczyk has been with “Lidl” for more than 20 years. Since 2025, he has headed Lidl’s operations in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

J. Wlodarczykas has also been at the helm of “Lidl Lietuva” since 1 September, according to data from the Centre of Registers.

Furthermore, Želko Maricas, head of the customer division, has been appointed to Lidl’s board of directors with effect from September. The board also includes the group’s HR director, Liina Kippasto; finance director, Eglė Radžiūnė; real estate director, Marius Kybartas; operations director, Lukasz Hejman; and procurement director, Alexis Latorre Garcia.

“Lidl” directors “Lidl Lietuva” Net profit for the 2025–2026 financial year doubled to €29.7 million (compared with €14.8 million a year earlier), its revenue in the last financial year, which begins in March and runs until the end of February the following year, rose by 7.5 per cent to €956 million (€889.1 million).

Lidl currently operates 87 stores in Lithuania, 39 in Latvia and 22 in Estonia.
