"Amazone launches the improved ZA-TS 01 AutoSpread spreader

Agricultural implements manufacturer „Amazone“ has introduced the „ZA-TS 01 AutoSpread“ fertiliser spreader, which is equipped with ultrasonic sensors that monitor the spreading technology in real time and automatically adjust the settings.

Using a real-time online connection to the manufacturer's database, the software continuously compares the monitored fertiliser spreading with a set spreading pattern adapted to the specific fertiliser type.

In case of deviations, the spreader immediately and automatically adjusts settings such as disc speed and drip point. When working in the field, you can measure accuracy as if the spreader were operating on the manufacturer's test bench.

Spreaders have become increasingly smarter over the years and „Amazone“ has offered a wind sensor as an optional feature for several years now, allowing the spreader to automatically react to wind speed and direction.

The new „AutoSpread“ has 2 additional sensors that also measure the actual spreading width. Together with the new software, the spreader measures the actual flight behaviour of the fertiliser and automatically adapts to it.
