Minister's clarifications on Bluetongue (VIDEO)

The European Commission plans to declare bluetongue (MLD) a simple economic disease from 1 January 2026, with a much more lenient status than at present.

All this was announced by Agriculture Minister Andrius Palionis at a breakfast meeting with journalists in Vilnius on Monday.

He also explained how the disease could have entered Lithuania.
