"Rokiškio sūris' profit fell by 23% last year.
One of Lithuania's largest dairy processing companies „Rokiškio sūris“, which last year generated a net profit of EUR 16.3 million, or 23.3% less than the year before, intends to pay a dividend of EUR 6.3 million to its shareholders, or 20 cents per share.
Shareholders will decide on the board's proposal at a meeting on 30 April, the company said on the Vilnius Stock Exchange, via the "Nasdaq“ Vilnius Stock Exchange".
In total, shareholders will have to decide on EUR 101.9 million of distributable profit, of which the board proposes to allocate EUR 45,000 to bonuses for board members and employee bonuses, and to carry forward the remaining EUR 95.6 million to the next financial year.
The company has also allocated €6.3 million for dividends in the last year. The company's net profit fell by 23.3% to €16.3 million last year, while sales grew by 12.5% to €376.1 million. Group net profit fell by 24.7% to €17.2 million, while sales grew by 8.7% to €402.7 million.
„The most important factor in the fall in profits was the increase in raw material prices in 2025, a significant drop in export cream and fresh cheese prices in the fourth quarter of 2025“, – the group said in its report.In addition, it is proposed to shareholders that the company could acquire treasury shares within one and a half years, the nominal value of which, together with the nominal value of other treasury shares already held, could not exceed one tenth of the company's authorised capital.
The maximum purchase price per share is €2.94 and the minimum price is €1.98. The company has a reserve of EUR 9.9 million for the acquisition of its own shares.
According to the report, the Group processed 522.2 thousand tonnes of milk in 2025, up 7.8% on 2024.
About 56% of the total volume of raw milk was bought in Lithuania, 31% in Latvia and 13% in Estonia. Compared to previous years, the structure of purchases remained stable.
The Group's exports accounted for around 70% of sales last year, with Italy remaining the main and largest buyer.
In 2011, the Group exported its products to 53 countries worldwide (55 countries in 2024). During 2025, the Group resumed sales to Moldova, started sales to Morocco, Colombia, Guinea, while it stopped exports to Algeria, Libya, Thailand.
