Buying tractor tyres and transferring the money to fraudsters

Taurage police report a theft in Šilalė district. According to officials, a man, born in Šilalja, was arrested in the town of Šilalja. 1979, residing in Šilalė. Šilalė district, bought tractor tyres from a person for which he made a bank transfer. However, neither the tyres nor the money were recovered from the man.

The loss is €800. A pre-trial investigation has been opened under Article 182(1) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania.
